Founded by Mohammed Sheikh in 2018, Aleel Films is a pioneering Somali production company with offices in both Minneapolis, MN, and Mogadishu, Somalia. Specializing in a diverse array of Somali films—ranging from narrative and documentary to short films—Aleel Films is dedicated to telling stories that resonate deeply with the Somali community and beyond.
